Why everyone keeps coming back.

Situated in the vibrant heart of Burbank, CA, Habit Burger & Grill stands out as a go-to destination for lovers of classic American fast food with a fresh, gourmet twist. This inviting hamburger restaurant offers a menu that skillfully balances indulgence and wholesome flavors, catering both to quick takeout needs and relaxed dine-in moments.

At Habit Burger & Grill, the appeal lies not just in its satisfying burgers but also in the diverse selection of fresh salads and seasonal specialties. For those seeking a lighter, yet flavorful option, the BBQ Chicken Salad is a standout, featuring chargrilled chicken atop crisp romaine and petite green leaf lettuce, enriched with hickory-smoked bacon, crispy onion tanglers, and a vibrant roasted corn and black bean salsa—finished off with a drizzle of smoky BBQ sauce and housemade ranch dressing. If you crave a classic with a healthy twist, the Grilled Chicken Caesar serves up perfectly chargrilled chicken paired with shredded parmesan, crunchy croutons, and a zesty lemon Caesar dressing.

For hearty appetites, the Sirloin Steak Sandwich is a must-try. Succulent garlic herb-marinated sirloin steak, cooked medium-well with a blush of pink, is layered with aged white cheddar, caramelized onions, crisp lettuce, fresh tomato, and garlic aioli—all nestled in a toasted sourdough roll. This sandwich delivers a rich, smoky BBQ flavor that leaves a memorable impression. Another crowd-pleaser that’s captured local fans' hearts is the Crispy Chicken Sandwich on ciabatta—each bite boasting a wonderfully crunchy exterior and juicy interior, perfectly complemented by creamy housemade coleslaw and tangy pickles.

Complementing the food options is a well-curated drink menu featuring refreshing choices like the Poppi Cherry Limeade and Strawberry Lemonade—both offering a mouthwatering soda experience with low sugar and calorie counts—ideal for those who want flavor without guilt.

The dining atmosphere at Habit Burger & Grill is a bright, casual space that invites you to settle in whether you’re escaping the bustle of Burbank for a quick lunch or grabbing a family dinner. Although the restaurant can get busy, especially during peak times, the staff generally maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor, keeping service swift and ensuring orders are prepared accurately. Some guests have noted room for improvement in curbside service and parking, but the overall experience emphasizes quality food and a relaxed environment.

Habit Burger & Grill in Burbank reflects the essence of modern American fast-casual dining—comfort food made with care and attention to flavor balance. Whether you’re craving a robust burger, a fresh salad, or a flavorful sandwich, this spot promises satisfaction with every bite, paired with beverages that refresh and delight.

The food is good but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The woman who brought out my curb side pick up practically threw it at me and rushed away. There are also a lot of transients and food deliver service cars taking up spots and standing menacingly outside the restaurant. I dont mind the charge for condiments but the customer service needs to greatly improve.

Popped in for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean and bright, which was odd as it was raining! The staff were friendly, chatty and helpful and the food was great

This Habit Burger is great. It can get crowded, but the line moves fast. You simply go to the counter, order your food and they will let you know when it is ready. They also deliver and you can call ahead for take away. The place is always clean and they do have tables to eat, but they don't have enough. The service is very nice and they usually get your order right the first time, but do check your bag. They have great burgers, fries, drinks and shacks. They also have chicken sandwiches and they have vegan burgers. I have never tried their vegan burger, but people in line have told me they are good. All of their food is very good and you will like it. It is something of a large chain now, I think owned by Yum!, which owns other fast food places. They used to have a "secret menu", but not so much anymore. They have the Santa Barbara Char (avocado, cheese, grilled onions on sourdough) and the Half & Half (fries & onion rings), but you can still customize burgers with additions like avocado, garlic mushrooms, or lettuce wraps. They will pretty much add or take away whatever you want. I like this place and will be back.

I recently stopped by Habit Burger & Grill in Burbank and decided to try their Crispy Chicken Sandwich on ciabatta—and I’m glad I did! The sandwich was a delightful surprise: the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired beautifully with the creamy house-made coleslaw and tangy pickles. The toasted ciabatta roll added a nice, hearty crunch that really elevated the whole experience. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, though definitely a bit busy during my visit. Despite the hustle and bustle, the staff managed to keep things moving smoothly, and the restaurant felt clean and comfortable. While I found the prices a little on the higher side compared to other fast-casual spots, the quality and flavor of the sandwich made it absolutely worth it. If you’re in Burbank and craving a satisfying, crispy chicken sandwich with a fresh twist, Habit Burger & Grill is a solid choice. Just be prepared for a bit of a crowd during peak times—but trust me, the food makes the wait worthwhile!

Came for the burgers, stayed for the sides! The onion rings and sweet potato fries are top-tier. I tried the Char Burger this time and it didn't disappoint. Pro tip: grab some of the yellow peppers from the bar to give your burger a little kick. 5 stars for the service and the food. Reliable, flame-grilled burgers that actually have flavor. The Double Char with cheese is a classic. Service at this Burbank location is always quick, and the interior is kept very clean. Definitely a step up from your average fast food Known for being a clean, efficient location with a nice outdoor patio.

I tried Habit Burger recently and noticed a new item on the menu, the cauliflower cheese side. It was like fried cauliflower with melted cheese inside, soft and creamy with every bite. I really liked it. We also ordered a high-protein meal with bacon, egg, cheese, cabbage, lettuce, chicken, and avocado. It was delicious, full of flavor, and definitely worth trying. Overall, great experience!
